Information on why GP Practices still work differently

PLEASE NOTE THAT AS RESTRICTIONS ARE REDUCED, ALL OUR PRACTICES ARE STILL WORKING WITH TELEPHONE APPOINTMENTS INITIALLY AND IF THE DOCTOR FEELS THAT YOU NEED SEEN FACE TO FACE AND YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY SYMPTOMS OF CORONAVIRUS, RECENT TRAVEL OR CONTACT WITH ANYONE POSITIVE WITH CORONAVIRUS, THEN THE DOCTOR WILL ARRANGE TO SEE YOU IN THE SURGERY FOR A FACE TO FACE APPOINTMENT.  PLEASE NOTE THAT A FACE COVERING MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES.

YOU CAN EITHER CALL THE SURGERY TO ARRANGE A TELEPHONE APPOINTMENT OR COME INTO THE SURGERY TO ARRANGE A TELEPHONE APPOINTMENT, AS LONG AS YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY SYMPTOMS OF CORONAVIRUS AND A FACE COVERING MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES.

                 

            

PRESCRIPTIONS:-

YOU CAN ORDER YOUR REPEAT MEDICATION ONLINE, BUT YOU HAVE TO REGISTER FOR THIS SERVICE BY ATTENDING THE SURGERY FOR A REGISTRATION LETTER THAT HAS A UNIQUE CODE FOR YOU TO REGISTER ONLINE.

YOU CAN ATTEND THE SURGERY TO ORDER OR COLLECT PRESCRIPTIONS AS LONG AS YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY SYMPTOMS OF CORONAVIRUS AND A FACE COVERING MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES.

YOU CAN CALL US TO ORDER YOUR PRESCRIPTION AND ADVISE US WHERE YOU WISH YOUR PRESCRIPTION TO BE SENT TO, FROM THE LIST OF PHARMACIES WE ARE USING, AND WE WILL SEND YOUR PRESCRIPTION TO THEM, PLEASE ALLOW 72 HOURS FROM WHEN YOU ORDER THIS FOR PROCESSING IN THE SURGERY, COLLECTION BY THE PHARMACY AND THEN PROCESSING IN THE PHARMACY.

What is Primary Care video

                         

The way you access urgent care has changed due to coronavirus:-
• If you think you need A&E, but it’s not life-threatening, you can now call NHS 24 on 111, day or night.
• If it’s an emergency, you should continue to call 999 or go to your local A&E.

 

Convenience

The surgery is a converted flat with access by stairs or via a ramp for disabled patients. The patient toilet is also suitable for wheelchair bound patients

Text Messaging

The practice uses text messaging to contact patients for reminder appointments, asking you to contact the surgery and various other communications, if you do not wish us to text you then please advise reception staff they will amend your record to show this.
