Non-NHS Services

Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore incur charges. Please note that charges/payments for these are cash or cheque only as we do not have card facilities for payments. Examples include the following:

• Medicals for pre-employment, sports and driving requirements (HGV, PSV etc.)
• Insurance claim forms
• Passport signing
• Prescriptions for taking medication abroad
• Private sick notes/letters for University, work or other
• Vaccination certificates
• To whom it may concern letters
• Travel Cancellations Forms
• All other forms requiring medical information

The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales and our reception staff will be happy to advise you about them along with appointment availability.   There forms CANNOT be completed at booked appointments or Drop In Clinics, they must be given to reception staff who will then pass them onto the Practice Manager who will appoint them in order of receipt to a Doctor to complete.
